Whats your top MPH?

Will a toomey pipe do any better? Will a toomey work with a fmf q muf? Whats a good right hand pipe?

i only run right bends...... F7, LRD and just got a Dyno Port,

Power to weight ratio has to do with it a lot, I weight 140. My blaster has a lot of metal removed of itlooks brackets and such so it's waaaay lighter than a stock frame. Depends what porting you have don't too. These are my mods: home ported (drag ported cylinder) , vf3reeds, toomey b1' bored .040 over, shaved head , k&n filter. She's doing this with a stock carb. Note: I used my brother to clock my bike for me. He weighs 85 pounds. With me she does like 66-68. He flies on the blasty. Hopefully I can get faster mph with a 34mm carb and a 15t sprocket.

Most peeps would be suprized to see how fast they are really goin. I'd like to think i could go 70-75 but i bet if ya get on a track with a radar system it would be 55-65 tops, maybe more with BBK, and some alcohol. 60MPH on the trails your looking for problems!

Unless you drag race, you really shouldn't concern yourself with how fast think you can go!

As long as your in front fugg it!

It all depends on how many straight stretches there are too. The bigger machines are going to lose you in the dust but the blastys rule on the corners.

yes, the toomey pipe will pull higher rpms than the fmf pipe.

the guy that set your porting should be able to tell you what pipe will work work best with the port work.

On the trails i hardly ever use 6th gear. Does anyone know of a good, free app on the android market to clock me? Also, how do you mount a device on your quad? It would suck to lose one.

i use "my tracks" on my android, maps everywhere you go, elevation changes, avg. speed, top speed, ect. ect. then you upload to your google account and veiw a map of where you've been, switch to ariel veiw and see exact trails, woods, strips ect.
pretty cool app

BTW...i've seen 61 mph. on rides i know i wasn't topped out anywhere, nor even into 6th gear

You need a GPS if you want accurate speeds and trail tracks.
I run a Garmin Etrex Legend HCx: Garmin webite, Legend HCx

The HCx stands for High sensitivity receiver, Colour, eXtendable memory.
Don't go for the older cheaper blue monochrome Legend, only 8-10 hrs life and loses tracks under tree cover.
The HCx has 30hrs of battery life, colour display (easier to see) and very good satellite reception.

I would not mount it on the bike (been there, done that).
If you mount it on the bike the vibrations (yeah, yeah, I am riding a motocross engine, trail vibrations will do it too)
will shake the battery and internal connections loose. Some guys use lithium batteries and pack the battery case
with foam to solve this when they mount the GPS on the bars.
I just put my GPS in my jacket pocket, take it out when I need it.

Cell phones are getting better, but so far I haven't seen any that work as good as the Garmin HCx.
The Garmin has a maximum speed function, as well you can see your speed and altitude anywhere on the track.
Very accurate, no guesses.
