Neil and I had a BLAST out in the slush and mud.
Temp warmed up to +5c or so and he drug my butt out in the muck.
Both of us with poor tires, hard to hook up. Our favourite sand pit has been dug out deeper.
The big boost ported Blaster rocks at top rpm but we both feel it gave something up at low rpm.
We both feel the little 6mm x 19mm boost port was better than the big one.
The KTM Blaster's 2" extension is enough on the flat but still a bit short on hill climbs.
I like it for trail riding.
+5c yesterday and -6c this morning headed for -15c this afternoon, our crazy weather.
Heading out camping next weekend, here is some picts from last year:
Hiking into the woods:
Building our Hoochie:
Morning after coffee after a -15c night, that was home in the background:
Bacon makes everything better:
Cranberries and Jello, drank warm, lots of energy to keep you warm:
Why are these folks smiling? It is freaking cold out... They survived!
I am a Search And Rescue training officer and instructor.
I get to share survival skills learned from the Army with my co-workers who may need them on a long search.
Not only can you live through a cold winter night in the woods, but you can actually have a good time.
Oh yeah, Blaster related...
It is confusing weather, do I take the Blaster or the sled?
