OEM plates, with the half width plate replaced with a standard one. barnette heavy spings. I do have my suspicions that most of the clutch problems here are the result of worn/notched baskets and improper adjustments.
ya ive been running a vitos clutch, but next im gonna try phragles theory, with oem plates, the smaller one replaced with the normal plate, then barnett springs, and a hinson basket
hinson hinson hinson hinson hinson, paired with pro circuit dirtbike titanium clutch springs, billet hinson basket and hinson inner hub and hinson pressure plate = the best way to get the powa to da ground
im running a bernett kit on one bike and like it a lot. also in the process of using oem disk replaced on the other to see how it does with hd springs in it.
EBC, in most cases because they are made to stock specs with OE materials.
however you cant get them without the skinny plate.
So for the Blaster OEM work best. replace the odd ball plate and judder spring with a regular friction plate like all the rest.
OEM springs and Amsoil 75w-90.
Im not a fan of Barnett or Hinson. Stronger materials may allow the plates to last longer, but they chew up the boss and pressure plate pretty quickly. Im also not a fan of clutch kits that use fewer or more plates.
