I have no tors, 30mm oko
if you have a stock thumb throttle assembly you still have a tors switch in there. it can casue problems. just sayin to keep it in mind. if its cutting out like the spark got cut, could be the culprit.
I dont think it is. it was ideling with a smaller jet, so idk.
its bogging
like you give it gas and it gots boooowwwaaaaa.a.a.a..... and dies out
whoa, whoa, whoa, what spacer ?????
you can not run a spacer behind vforce reeds, the center section will push back upon engine pressure, it needs the intake pushing against it to hold it in there, chased slickerthanyou's bike all day doin the same thing, till ken oconnor noticed the inner block was pushing back because of the void ceated by the spacer
spacers need to be in front of vf3's, and then only if needed for clutch arm to carb clearence
if you let throttle back off does it keep idling fine?
also a vforce does not use a gasket between the reedcage and the intake boot us e a good qaulity silicone there brian the problem is def in that carb or your tors is still active in the thumb throttle as that motor ran 100 percent fine 2 secs before i pulled it out of my bike
no ........... engine, gasket, spacer, gasket, vforce, intake
/\/\/\/\ no gasket needed between v-force and stock intake < thay have a built in rubber gasket
all other intakes require a gasket, to my knowledge
so, the spacer must go in front of the v-forces, the intake must hold the stuffer block in, or as soon as you hit the gas, the rise in pressure in the motor pushes the stuffer block out of the main cage
at least thats what was happening on slickerthanyou's bike, same as yours is doing now
ok well i did a quick check and it had a leak, so im got the full assembly pulled now and siting inside overnight and will put it back on the 4 wheeler tomorrow.
this time i weint with this
engine, cosmic gaskit, spacer, papergasket with some orange RTV cilicon, reeds, orange cilicon, boot.
Hopefully this will get the leaks took care of.
It looks like my rtv gaskets before never cured, probally becuase of the low temps so now the assembly is bolted togather in my house for the next day.
At anyrate, is there a way to check and see if TORs is messed up?
just unplug the brain under the hood and the thumb throttle by the base of the handlebars
just the wires running from the bottom of the thumb throttle?
