well everytime i go to work on the blaster i see my rear fenders and because of the major cracks in em makes me want to cut em off,a few of you's that did cut ur fenders said you dont get wet wile ripping around.i went to a guy that lives near me and he had everything except blasters mainly yamaha,so if i do cut em ill have to hope i can find some near me cheap.costs too much to get em from you guys in the states,so should i or shouldnt i

thats why i cut mine off....only thing worth saving was the airbox.
you will get wet, dirty, muddy, etc. but not a whole lot more than before

heres a pic of the crack.

A BIG chunk was out of my right rear fender so I cut all my fenders, I noticed no increase of mud coming up or anything, and it looks really slick. my sig is pretty much what it would look like VVVV I say go for it just to take some of the stress out of that crack, but seeing where it is, you would probably be better off buying new ones.

yeah it does look kinda stupid lol
because of where the crack was i couldnt really salvage a lil on the rear.bye bye cat walks, now i will prolly get my legs cought in the tires if i attempt to do one

If your cutting fenders up to end up with a stock airbox... go pick up a cheap set of rears from a yfz, raptor, or any other bike you like the rears from and mod them to fit with the chopped airbox. Well thats my opinion on what to do with a stock airbox after your fenders are all hammered.
