Well, I just put on a set of ITP Mud Lites in 22x11x8 and I hate them for general sporting around.
Too soft and cushy, and uncontrollable at speed, and suck up a lot of hp,
even with lowering the rear sprocket from 40 to 44 to make up the size difference.
If you like the way your machine handles right now, stick with the present size, just change tread.
The ITP Mud Lite tread pattern does perform as named. Traction in mud and sand was faultless.
I could stop in deep mud and start away again.
On sandy hillclimbs I had to back off the throttle or risk flipping. Lots of grip from the tread, not much control from the (over)size.
If I go out with my 4x4 buddies I may run these to get through their mud and water holes.
The 4x4s don't go fast enough for the nasty handling to become apparent!
