The build has begun!

Notta bad idea....so i have been looking at them, and what exactly makes them anti vibe? Just the handlebar mount? If so, I can pick that up pretty cheap...

yup, basically all it is is making it so where the bar clamps go into the stem are rubber mounted. you can also fill the handlebars with lead shot to help dampen vibrations

yup something like that. i think on here the guy said they cap the ends with silicone, and fill them with shot

awesome post. i have been trying for a while to split my cases and i cant get my flywheel off or split the case. everythings off except the flywheel. but i dont feel like buying the tool and i cant afford to have the shop do it. so i think im just going to give up and save to but a different blaster.

it'd be a hell of a lot easier to save and buy the tools to do it the flywheel puller is like 13 bucks....

the larger threaded part screws into the flywheel, then you tighten the center bolt and it'll pull it right off

yeah my top end is all rusted out and doesnt move so that bolt came off real easy. but i will probably look for that puller tomorrow. if all else fails i can always pay a shop fee to do it. sorry to whore up your thread man

You're ok....we try to be as helpful as possible!

Yeh if your top end is rusted...like cylinder rusted to sleeve...may have to have that broken loose and bored, resleaved maybe, and new piston. Go all out and do a big bore with PP and bigger carb...

yeah im already planning on sending it out to get bore out and ported, but i need money and someone to send it to. i also need to get a new crank. what size carb should i go with? I already got the fmf fatty pipe, power core 2 silencer, (theyre rusted out so ill need to clean em) some brand reeds, and reed spacer...

Well take a look at Kennedy's Powersports here...Angus does good work on porting and polishing, assembling...pretty much anything you want. That's just my pick....check out his reputation too. I talked to him personally and he's really knowledgeable and down to earth, and fully explains everything.

As for carb, I gotta 35mm PWK Airstriker...very good carb. If you have any mods done to the motor, like porting and possible big bore, you can go from a 32mm up to a 35mm...that's what i would recommend. I also heard the V-force 2 reeds are better than the V-force 3's with my setup...so consider that as an option. Ebay is your friend...

hell yeah i love ebay. well when i got money. but where do i find kennedy`s at? does he do cylinder boring as well?

awesome. thanks for all the help. i tried his website but all it says is webpage cant be displayed and i tried to pm him but it wont let me. ill try again though. thanks
