Hi All! Just an update now that winter is here in Michigan again. I changed the base gasket without incident but then a leak down test found a minor exhaust port leak. I swapped the gasket, retorqued and.... upon riding it's still sucking a tad of air around exhaust(DMC)? It was rideable but had idle hang issues. I'm gonna goop it up I guess... otherwise it rips.

Hey All! I just wanted to update the thread with some current info.
She still snorts but .... it needs more power. I've got the 35mm Keihin on the shelf still... anybody want to donate a Dynaport? ....lol
Jetting-
310 main. 5th slot on needle. Stock pilot, air screw @ 1.5ish.

Tires and gearing-
I ended up going to a 22x11x9 in the rear up from the original 20" . I also dropped a tooth on the counter shaft sprocket. From a 14 tooth to a 13 tooth.
I may go down to 12 at some point.

Clutch-
I started getting some clutch slipping earlier this season and I'd heard some strange knocking noises that went away a couple rides after I'd replaced the base gasket last season. Upon inspection I found an ear broken off the clutch basket and some obvious leftovers @ the bottom of the case.
Today I'm finishing up the new clutch. Wiseco Forged basket and Wiseco fibers,plates and springs.

I grabbed a $40 graphics kit straight from the GuanDong province..... yeah buddy....
