striped oil plug bolt

i just brought a Yamaha blaster engine for my blaster but the people striped the oil plug bolt. can anyone tell me how to get this off?

Try vise grips clamped hard as ya can then buy a new bolt. Or a nut extractor socket from Sears?

Are you talking head of plug is stripped/rounded off, or the threads in the case are stripped?

You could try filing flats on the head and using a crescent wrench.

that worked for me I had my bolt/plug in so oily from the po that when he tried to take it off it got stuck pretty good from the dried oil and he rounded a few of the faces off with the wrong socket.

or you could weld a socket onto it.
