Street bike brakes

i am thinking about adapting streetbike rear brakes instead on the mechanical ones. just wondering if anyone has attempted this and been sucessful or failed? i would like some feedback before i potentially waste my money and for somereason it wont work.

they have been done before, you just need to do a little modification to make a bracket, but they will work

if you can personally make brackets and do some welding/fabing then go for it. or even if you have someone that can do it for you. but if not, its really hard to do without the ability to fab brackets and weld them on and other crap involved.

I'm probably going to do this to mine over the winter any body got any idea which ones work/fit easiest or which ones to stay away from?

i prefer the less bulky honda rear caliper... the 300ex/400ex calipers work great... just have to adapt brakets....the honda rear brake system could be adapted with brackets.
