ok heres the million dollar question is it worth it to resleeve a cylinder. im debating this right now and could use some input. i already bought a new cylinder and had it bored and honed so, 1 i dont really need it right now. 2 ive been buying these things on CL like there running out of style so it would be nice to have a spare or to sitting here to cut down on downtime. 3 cost is killing me the idea to pay 100 for the sleeve then 75 to put in from my machinist just doesnt sound like a deal to me but then ive also tossed the idea of a big bore then its not as bad but then you gotta add a nice port job which brings it close to one of the major kits.

so what would you guys do

the trick is to make them last a bit longer! how often are you having engine failure? resleeving IS an option, although it not always the best, i personally am not a fan of the idea due to the likelyhood of the sleeve to twist in the cylinder. its often cheaper and easier to just get a new cyl of ebay etc as you have been doing, just get them to last and it wont be a headache. remember your cylinder bore clearance must be 100%

i would just get one off ebay if it were me, keep your eye open here.. every now and then people sell ported jugs. i just sold my +3 flotek ported stock jug for $175.00 shipped about a month ago
