Right so back to the quad,

Its coming along man, I'm taking a welding class and I have to say your welds look amazing! Anyone have any ideas on how its going to perform being a 4 stroke? I had a pocket bike like the one your selling. It was alot of fun, but then i grew 2 inches and then i started feeling like a giant trying to ride in a barbie jeep so i sold it for $100 US. what all do you have left to do on the bike to get it ride-able?

Thanks high Tech appreciate that :)

Very little left to do, just finish off the swinger, sort out wiring, and get a few bearings. Also need to buy a tensioner and mount it to the frame. There are a few more things to do, like buying battery and the hubs are causing trouble for the bolt pattern on the wheels been 4/110 and the blasters are 4/100.

dude i dont mean to be a smurf but you would have spent 300/400 on that quad theres a nice blaster on donedeal for 500 looks clean all im saying is ask your parents could you borrow 300 and put that 125 for that blaster im ure you could bargin him ! if you dont i will it looks mint!!

so far im looking at about 150 spent + the 30 for buying it= 180. Im trying to keep it under 300...and its not that i dont have the money, i just love a good challenge :) But at the time couldnt find a nice named quad locally to rebuild

that quad u got is a SunL Quad i have a red one that sh*t the bed on me started blowing blue smoke and now it starts but doesnt run i can tell by looking at the motor and frame the motor is a honda replica some of the hondas parts fits on the motor for small repairs. ., my main thought just cause i do have one. and what i have noticed with this quad is the motor cant handle much weight the wet clutch tends to slip from time to time and putting that big of a ratio from motor to wheel plus the size of the wheels and weight of a rider might throw the motor out the window. i have tried to mod mine i had it turned by my local shop with diffrent carb and exhaust system but it still performed like eh and after changing my sprokets and such the motor seemed to bog alot more and had alot more slipping in and out of gear. atm mine is rotting till my other blaster motor gets back from a rebuild to go into that small frame. that might be a nice build throwing that much power into that light of a frame. just a thought

I know people discourage this act but you could buy blaster rims and elongate the mounting holes 5mm each straight out from the center of the rim, that should give you the right bolt pattern. You would have to be very precise with them so you don't get high speed wobble tho. do you have a set of blaster rims you could measure to see if its possible? If not P.M. me and I'll do a little number crunching and see if it could be done. Hope it works out for you so you can sell it and get a blaster. If you have any questions about anything and need sizes I will be more then happy to measure it for you. then use google to convert the measurements so you understand what I'm talking about...lol

Thanks High tech, but i think i will go with a set of conversion hubs.

Started on the front wheels last night (12am-2am) one has serious rust and wont seat great with the pressure down after seating, so time for some fab work on that.

Im just back from work cutting down trees, with a husky and a noname saws and there is 2 stroke fumes in my clothes sweet!! And its my birthday, im legally able to drive a quad now......but that dont make a differance, have been doing it for a while now.

Will get pics of front wheels up later on.

Thanks
