So my other build thread got so jacked up due to some D-Bags who are no longer members , and I have changed up a lot of my plans I'm starting a new one . Check out the frame , I love this color , Its Krylon Fusion Patriot Blue . The frame isn't done yet , I need to get more paint and clear coat .

Love the color!! Thinkin bout a similiar color for my '03 project blaster :) My boyfriend wants blue and black, so now its just a matter of picking the right blue!! Lol

Whoah holy thread update . So it's not blue anymore it's flat black . I've been raising the cash to raise the banshee from the ashes . Yesterday I finally ordered a set of pro taper 1-1/8 bar adapters , Tusk black aluminum mx race bend bars , rockstar grips , and a new set of front wheel bearings !!!!! I'll be ordering a +4 swing arm in a couple weeks and getting this bad boy back to a roller !!!!! Pics to come !

I went out to the garage last night and put on the parts that arrived , I can finally see it coming together . I still need to put the grips on , I need front shocks and the +4 swinger to get it back to a rolling chassis . then its just a new top end and its done !!!!

lookin good bro,
now hide that stop sign so it doesnt make into any more pics

Flat black??? Thats crazy. Flat black looks horrible once it gets dirty.
Why change that awesome blue color? It's not too late to clear it satin or gloss lol
Seriously if the flat black/rat rod look is what you want then I respect that.
I did the motor on my 175 in flat bike and now everytime I clean it I try to figure out ways to make it shinier.

Ahhh man I love updates !!!!!
Ok so I been saving my pennies and They added up to the +4 swingarm
+4 rear brake line , 5" rear wheel spacers and about a month ago I scored a Graydon 2-1 intake . So now I gotta find some shocks and a set of tie rod ends and it's back to a rolling chassis .
I'll post up pics of the new parts ASAP , can't wait till they get here !!!
My cylinders are gonna have to be bored .100 over , so next time it's new sleeves or find some fresh cylinders . But the new top end will last easily several seasons .
Ok , pics to come!!!!!

And to add , I'm still torn about color choices .I really loved that blue , and next year I plan to do a another rebuild , just doing stuff like powdercoat versus paint for longevity and I'm still deciding . After this I may be so tired of rebuilds I'll just leave it the way it is... Probably not lol

If you do flat black also use flat clear over it. I agree with Paulie, flat black paint by it's self sucks. I sprayed a trailer with Rustoleum from a gun only cause that's what I had. All I have to do is touch it and it leaves a mark, and I haven't even used it yet.

Here are those Sand Paddles from Rocky Mountain ATV.
A great tire for 26.99 each !!!! Got them mounted up today!
