nice. paulie, it make a big difference opening up the intake into one big port like that? i just kinda made mine all bigger by themselves. but i dont' have a 240, its just a stock jug.

Flotek did the work on my 400. After he did the porting I installed a 426 kit so I also gained 40cc's (from 386cc's stock) on top of the porting.
Yeah it made a hell of a difference!
Now I'm on a different jug that measures 406 and yes he ported it as well.

i'm putting p&p on my list of mods for next season. this shouldn't change any detonation characteristics right? i guess it increases compression a hair.....i've just been running 87 in my stock motor....will 87 run ok w/ the p&p job or will she need 93?

i gotta q?, i gotta 02 blaster, and i got a vitos 240 big bore kit, 35mm keihin carb, bills pipe, race plug, 3mm stroker, and cant get it to run like the older blaster does, the 240 should make that f*cker wanna jump outta my hands and it kinda bogs

If that Vito's ain't ported a stock cylonder bike with a stock carb and good port job could beat you in a drag if your jetting ain't perfect...:(

I thought it came at 72 and could go to 73

L.A.SLEEVE Store

and they only sell up to a 73, i have a big bore that is at 73 and needs a bore, but i didnt think you could go bigger, if you can where do u get a piston

by raising your exhaust port and increasing area there is a slight loss of static compression how much depends on how radical the port design
it is not uncommon to lose 5-10 pounds o na typical setup and on a machine wit h a poor compression ratio already its a smart idea to mill the head to recoop some of that loss ..this will be especially noticable on lowend grunt -midrange if its not accounted for

i've been thinkin of doing the timing advance mod in the diy section....but it would be bad on a bike w/ p&p and head work to increase compression right?

The link is to my Webshots. Some pictures are of my wifes Big Bore Blaster. Did you guys catch some video on it? Just a dune bike. Has a +6 inch swinger on it

To let you guys know the big end on the crank went out on my last trip out. It was the stock crank that was run in her since 1996 when I stuck the big bore kit on it. Time for a 76mm piston? That puts it .040 over. 3 more builds left after that.
I was thinking of changing her up a bit. Might do a stroker crank in. What do you guys think? Flotek you ever run this big a piston on a Blaster? Do they cast after market jugs this big?
