Hey guys we are new here so excuse our ignorance.. we bought an older 88 blaster couple weeks ago.. bike runs great, great pickup and speed.. no problems.. the problem we have is when we run it hard and shut it off we get gas leaking out of a small hole in the exhaust pipe.. we will get another pipe but it shouldn't be leaving gas in the bottom of the pipe right?.. also the air line that come out of the top of the motor over by the kick start blows a small amount of oil out of it where it comes out under the front cawling.. any suggestions on either questions guys.. thanks for your help in advance

The gas in the pipe could be that it's too rich check your jetting you also may have too much oil in the case you should drain it and refill the case with the correct amount and see what happens

we mix our gas and oil.. 4oz to 1 gallon yamalube.. but we will definitely check the setting on the jet.. thank you for your suggestions

I had my mainjet come loose and was in the bottom of my float bowl it would only run with the choke out it was way too rich and I was getting fuel in the headpipe as well so definitley pull that carb and check it out

He was talking about the transmission oil, if its leaking there is probably too much in it so drain it and replace with new, the drain plug is on the bottom just unscrew it
