Picked up these wheels today. What do you think?

those are 4x115 pattern? or did you happen to find 4x100 baja's? look too far apart to be 4x100 to me... guessing u have different hubs. just curious is all :)

for $55 can't go wrong at all. to be honest. I've owned a few sets of rims now and miss my beat up baja's, I'd run some nice mud tires on um and use them for my aggressive trail with sh*t tons of rock. I had mud lites on my raptor and am considering maxxis surtrak or zilla for my next set of mud tires. they're stupid light. but they're only 2ply iirc. so MAY be a bad idea and I also want to try the kenda bear claw and a couple other tires out. but yeah, I'd throw a heavy ramble set of tires on it and abuse the hell out of them. ESPECIALLY for $55 I paid $150 or something on my front set that was beat and now wish I never got rid of them...

painted rings is nice because it's different from what everyone else is running for the vast majority :)

Looks like you have the same wheels freek? Yours hold up well? I'm pretty sure I am going to finish painting them this week. I only have $55 in them with the cost of the wheels and paint. PC would cost too much and I am not sure I have enough patience to sand and polish the rings enough to be happy with them since they are pretty beat up. Once I am done painting I'll polish the inside of them. Thanks for all the comments.

they sure do man, ive ridden in some rocky places (awk mt) lol...and only walked away with a few dings here and there, they are super tough rims...im pretty sure they are unbendable

just watch ur hands when sanding and polishing the inside of those rims...the inside of the ring edge is super sharp and will cut ya up pretty good...they shouldve sanded that edge down abit

Hawaiian, Yes they are 4-115. I bought a set of 09 YFZ hubs to run these. The 09s are off set so hopefully I will get a couple extra inches of width in the rear too. Not sure what tires I am gonna use yet. I was actually looking for 10" rims to replace my other bent alums but couldnt pass this deal up.

Freek, Thanks for the heads up. I will sand the dge when I sand the face of the lips. Glad to hear that they rae good wheels. These have definately seen better days but the rims are straight as can be and LIGHT.

Just bought a matching set of fronts from Nonpoint86. Sweet deal with the wheels and tires both. Guess that means I have two more wheels to paint. LOL.

no pix of all 4 painted? I'm thinking of painting my rear set I just picked up.. need to get another front set myself as well.

Well I got the rears finished but when I got the fronts they were like brand new. Just couldnt bring myself to paint them right away. I mounted the fronts on my quad and I liked them so much the way they were that I decided that I was going to strip the paint from the rears and polish as well as I can until I can afford to replace them with new ones. Have been a little busy this last week with school starting back but I got one of the rears stripped. Hopefully get the other one stripped this week and start polishing.

take some type of power sander to them first.. will make life alot easier.
