Ok so got my ebay ordered throttle cable today, and im somewhat worried that its the wrong part.

I dont have my carb yet to test so here's some pics of the cable.

Do these look right? its a pretty small end on the cable, and the sticker said its for honda, oem part number 17910-964-000

i thought it was supposed to screw into the throtle?

any ways measured it up with the stock one and its about 6inches longer.

ok, so im guessing the OKO gets the narrow end. how does it stay in the carb with out coming our? most carbs ive used use a locknut screw in design.

here's some more pics compaireing the differnt ends and length.

There is a indention made into the d slide and then a small plastic sleeve that slides down over top of the indention to trap that end into the indention. That's the correct cable as long as it's long enough to reach.

i under stand what your askin about, its where the plunger thingy fits.and will the cable fit.try it and let us know.
i know most mikuni carbs have a lock washer trype to lock in the cable head to the plunger.not sure about that type
