Hi guys, was hoping to get a few opinions here. I currently have unleaded 98 fuel running in the blaster, took it out today and it starts fine and idles well. But when we got it on the track as soon as I tried to open up the throttle it started coughing and losing all power. It'd recover and keep running at lower revs, it was just the higher end that struggled when I tried to boot it.
Do you think the cause of this issue is the 98octane fuel?

Where in the manual does it say to run 98 octane fuel? 87 octane is what you want. The higher the octane the more compression you will need to accommodate. You are probably detonating running that fuel. What octane does AU have for gas available?

I've literally just bought the bike and the guy I got it off filled it with 98 thinking it'd be good for it or something like that, after the performance issues with the 1st ride today I was highly confident that the fuel was the problem.
Here the lowest we can get is 91.

To add there's also 95 and 98 available, they're the options we have here
