Normal two stroke sound or knock?

There is nothing wrong with the engine in that vid. The audible "flutter" is normal and is coming from the reeds opening and closing. You don't have any metallic rattling or pinging, which would be cause for concern, nor do I hear any roar or thunk from a bottom-end bearing fixing to fail.

I'd give her a clean bill of health! I:I

alright just wanted to make sure. its a brand new top end and the bottem end bearing was within spec so i just left it. just wanted to make sure it was normal. guess im just paranoid not wanting it to blow up again. lol

sounds about right. also, could you put just a little more sealant around that reed cage, i think you missed a spot!!!!

sorry it was leaking every where so i put a bunch under both parts the caage and boot and what you see is what oozed out and i tried to wipe away with my finger and it didnt work. but the leaks were fixed! which in my mind is all that matters!

If you haven't already done so, do a leakdown test on the fresh engine. This will be sure that your top and bottom ends are vacuum-tight. There's no faster way to fry a fresh engine than an undetected air leak.

Nice on the Leak down test , All that gasket maker made sure it didn't leak , Sounds like a normal blaster motor to me , Sounds good with the Pro Circuit on there !

Sounds normal bud, however, not to paranoid you out, but too much RTv is just bas bad as none, don't want that stuff breaking off inside, just a light coat is all you should need!

i looked on the inside of the cage and boot and whatever i could find on the inside i chipped away at with the screwdriver to get it to break off before it got in the motor. so i should be good for awhile. to be sure im going to leak test again tomorrow anf make sure no gaskets are leaking. paranoia at its worst, but rather be safe than sorry!

I'm talking about Pieces breaking off and getting into your bearings, not leaking!
