well traded my 450r for a yfz wednesday. Its pretty nice just got to get used too it. its got a dr.d exhaust, houser stem, flexx bars, american star a arms, gytr nerfs, uni filter, port and polished head. Theres some other stuff. its frecking fast the power isnt as smooth as i wished it was but its pretty nice.

me and my buddy caught my yfz and his 400 trying to make a raptor 125 or trx90

nope just run 93 in it. as far as me being more comfortable it goes to the trx, but i did have it for over a year so it should be weird transferring. 450r was easy to steer but it my stabilizer helped out with that alot. this one is way faster and has way more torque, but my 450 was just smooth power all the way through.

Is the yfz faster because of the mods it has? Or is the yfz just faster out of the box? What year is the yfz?

Oil mod done? Who did the head work? Your TRX should have had more torque but the motor work on this YFZ probably helps a lot. It is probably geared low too isn't it?

its a 05. and yeah yfz's are faster out of the box. you can put full exhaust on a trx with 13 38 gearing stock motor. and put the same full exhaust on a yfz with 13 38 gearing stock motor and the yfz will smoke it. mod for mod the yfz is faster then a trx.

no idea if the oil mod is done i hope so. how can i check? and i always ran 13 38 gearing on my 450r so thats what i put on my yfz.

Sweet. It looks like e camber is off on the front left wheel. Could be the pic though. I guess you won't miss the reverse sense you race it. Make sure the oil mod is done. I don't think they fixed that until 07. Not sure though.

yeah, i left it at my buddys, he is going over everything on it, we are getting new ball joints and front wheel bearings for it, he said it needed turned in a little bit.

You can pull the oil filter cover and look for a hole drilled in the back of the housing. The oil UPGRADE, you will have to pull the whole clutch cover to look for the nozzle.

amen to that. I like the yfz's but it seems unless you get 07 ++ there just problems
