Hi all,

I have been lurking for a while and I am finally getting serious about buying a blaster. I used to ride quads when I was in high school but that was over 10 years ago. At the time I owned a Quadsport LT230.

I am looking to buy a blaster to get back into riding, just for fun mostly and to have a new hobby. I am also interseted in the blaster because they are inexpensive and parts are readily available for modding. I am very interested in modding the blaster as well, since that is just as much a fun hobby as riding them I'm sure.

This forum seems like an awesome place and I plan to garner as much information as possible with the search function and ask a lot of questions too!

welcome man!! yes the blasters are an awesoe in expensive atv unless you get the mod bug, then it can come quite expensive lol

I live in Guilford (on the shoreline, about 15 minutes east of New Haven). I will definately look into Ken Oconnor Racing.

Thanks to all the other welcome replies... the more I read the more I want to buy one immediately. I have been trying to take my time to get the best deal, and I still want to do a little research. Not sure if I want one that some mods (suspension primarily) already done, or start from scratch.

If you can find a Stock one for cheap go for it , But if you find something modded make sure the po know what they have , if not sometimes its a good thing and you can get it Cheaper !

At least get a 03+ one so ya have hydraulic brakes all the way around. If it has some works or elka shocks all the better if the price is right!

yes, better to get a good deal and take more time then get ripped off, I looked for over 2 months to get this dirtbike. But well worth the wait!

Welcome. One of the sales people at the shop has 3 Blasters for sale. He's going to Bike Week on Saturday and I'm sure he can use some extra cash. I may be able to get you a smoking deal. Give me a call.

I would not be ready to pull the trigger on something that quickly, but I still may be interested in the future. Are they modded at all? I'm Looking for something pretty close to stock, maybe with some suspension upgrades only.
