Hey all. Bought a brand new PWK 28mm w/ a Motion Pro twist throttle kit. Got everything together and it took a few kicks to get it started, but won't stay running. If it does, doesn't run worth a darn. Has no power when you disengage the clutch. The motor has had some work done to it, not sure how far bored but it has V-Force 3 Reeds w/ Fatty pipe and silencer.

go up to a 45 pilot and 150 main and see if that helps. your going to have to do some tunning to that carb to get it right. do you have extra jets?

I have some extra pilots. I think I have a 42 and 45 laying around from my old PWK 35 I had. No Mains though. When it comes to carbs man, I have NOOOOOO clue. :( I can't see spending $100 plus taking it to the shop

dont take it to the shop dude!! put that 42 pilot in and get yourself some larger mains... if i was home i would hook you up with some but i wont be home for a couple more weeks. good read.... Two stroke Carburetor jetting, How to performance tune your two stroke carb, jetting tips for two stroke carbs

Haha trust me, I will push this B^tch in the James river before I take it to the shop. It's frustrating. So try a 150 Main and a 42 Pilot?

You on work travels?

u will get it dude just gotta do some tinkering... yeah start with that and then see how the plug looks and how it runs. If your buying some jets you might as well get some sizes larger and smaller in case thats off some. yes work travels... workin on a tugboat.

Ok I will do that. If I can't get it right I'll drop you a line. Maybe we can meet up and see if we can't get this thing running right.
