we would guide you through it here, but you will need to give us lots of pics and have a machine shop rebore the cyclinder. doing a rebuild can be hard or easy depending what needs to be done. what all is broken and needs replacing?

Never done bottom, but i did my top and it was the first ENGINE/MOTOR i had touched.. and now i can get a top end rebuilt in about literally 5mins.. easy stuff now sure about the bottom though.... I:I

I just rebuilt mine today and u have to really pay attention
to what's goin on take account to all ur parts and pay attention
to the timing marks on the crank and balancer sprockets make
they r lined up properly

I had to rebuild my top and bottom end back in Feb/March and it took like 5 hours once the motor was out of the frame. As said before you absolutely need an arsenal of all your basic hand tools, as well as a case splitter and a crank puller/installer. Tho you may not necessarily need it, I would strongly recommend using an impact gun with a range of sockets to save time and agravation. I found a complete top and bottom end kit made by wiseco for under $350, and got the case splitter and crank puller/installer for $120 ( $60 a piece ). Even if you have experience workin with engines, I would not do this job ( mainly the bottom end ) without having a clymer manual with you at the very least.

GOOD call on the flywheel puller bro ! I don't know how the hell I left that out haha. Speakin of flywheel tools, I didn't mention anything about a flywheel holder cause you don't need one if you have an impact gun with sockets to take the nut off the flywheel. However a flywheel puller IS 100% needed

The holder CAN be replaced my a screwdriver but damnit dont fk the stator! just read up and make sure you know what your doing.

+1 on this. I broke my stator plate in a non crucial area and split a wire! Though Im thinking my stator may be my whole issue with my blasty.....

Rebuilding a bottom end isnt too bad if you have mechanical knowledge of small engines of some sorts AND a manual to help with torques and stuff. You MUST have those special tools mentioned to do the job right.

You need a flywheel holder of some sort to replace the flywheel, it must not be done with an impact wrench!

A good torque wrench, and a leak down tester, are other must have additions for the toolbox.

Could someone explain to me what a crank puller/installer is, how it's used and a link to the one that's needed for a Blaster. Like many other things, been around this stuff all my life and never heard of one.
