well, im trying to find my self a christmas present and i think iwant rims and tires, well rockymountainatv has so many differnt options i dont know what i want, i need suggestions...all i care about are polished rims, id like a good deal not to expensive, but good stuff. nothing to cheap but something in the middle...you know. im not really sure on the size or the tires...like i said all i want is polished rims...links would help awesome

razr's or holeshots all around stock size for the front and 20/11/9 for the rear......just go on rm and build the set you want and buy.......

well it kind of depends on what kind of riding u do
i have holeshots on stock rims on the front and holeshots on itp .190 in the rear and i really like them! the rear wheels have a few scratches but that to be epected when trail riding but over all they r really nice!
i have heard alot about kenda claws and they seem to be a good all round tire
but again it depends on what kind of riding

its gonna be trail riding, and i have not ever looked into buying new rims, so i have no idea whats good and whats not. are douglas better than itp rims? whats the .190 and all that? school me please

its gonna have the shee hubs on it so i got rid of the ones that came with mine,,...they were all spray painted and dented, banged up. i want a nice set of alumium rims, i really dont care much about the tires. honestly my quads sit and look pretty more than they get rode. so the tires dont matter much, but when i do take them out its just trail riding and through the back yard.

the .190 is the thickness of the rim
the higher the number the thicker the rim and more of a beating it can take
i think .190 is the highest and .125 is the lowest

im not sure the difference between razors and razors mx but i bet it has to with the compution of the tread sorry my spelling sucks

Razr mx's are 18"s while plain razrs are 20-22" and come in 4 ply and 6ply versoins.

Trust me you don't want .125's for trail riding! They will bend and get banged up the first ride, spend the little extra and get .190's.

I personally run razr cross's and I like em' alot, they have a real mean tread pattern that hooks up pretty good... 100% better then stockers. But they are 18"s depending on your trails you may want 20's, so if I was you I might look into 20" holeshots.

ok i see that now...im looking at those razor crosses you got, on douglas 190's....its looking like 400 hundo all together for front and rear...is that about a good price to pay for a full set of rims and tires? or should i be looking for cheaper and smaller? is 190 over kill for the trails? i wont be doing much jumping....how do these compare to like a stock set of yfz 450 rims? alot better?

ok so i was just looking on motosport which is a much better layout for picking out a set of rims and tires, much more user friendly that RMATV, but anyway what is there rock aluminum 160 rims??? any one ever try these yet? there a good price but i dont want to be the first to try them
