Ok, I've been having a problem that has been driving me crazy. Long story short, water is getting into my flywheel when I wash the blaster or water is around the stator cover area. Here is the list of things I've tried to do to fix it,in order.
1) Replace Stator Cover seal with genuine Yamaha Stator Cover Seal.
2) Used silicone gasket around the area where the cables go in to seal them.
3) When that did not worked, used Silicone Gasket Maker(not hardened)
Water is still getting into my flywheel after all that, I have carefully and patiently examined and I can't identified where the water is coming from. Im 100% sure that from the cable it is not, no water at all there. But water in the stator cover is all over so I cant clearly identify the source. And there is no water in an specific area of the seal.
Im thinking condensation but I highly doubt it, doesnt seem possible to me because even when the motor is completly cold, water still gets in.
Need suggestions.
