my car!!!

lol you better get a good job before you put a taller rear end gear in it. these cars arent too good on gas to begin with, so unless your going to a lower gear ratio then your gonna be making a noticeable dent in that wallet when you find out how much less mileage you get

Who really buys a 5.0 and concerns themselves with gas mileage and economy?if you do you're in the wrong car.you need an honda if you're concerned with gas mileage lol.best bang for the buck is gears though you will swear you doubled your hp with a good set of gears it wakes them up.2.73 and 3.08's make them feel doggy.

dont get flowmasters. on my old computer i had a chart of a bunch of the top brand mufflers bench test numbers, and the flowmasters are the chambered design, and the company goes more for sound than performance and they flow like sh**

hey man, if it doesnt have it already, start looking for a gt40 intake off of a late 90's v8 explorer, and i cant remember if its the gt40 or gt40p heads that you would use. you get a big performance increase out of them and they can be found in any junkyard. just research and make sure you know what your looking for. both the gt40 and gt40p heads will fit, but one of them have a different plug angle and you have to buy special high dollar headers so you can get the plug boot on them

Its the gt40p's you want the plug angle on number 7 is a bit different when using regular off the shelf headers but the problems solved with a set of 90 degree plug wire boots.I like the cut to fit myself.if you're injected yes get the intake as well as the heads its basically the same top end used in the cobras and is underated at 235hp.do a port match on the intake and exhaust side while they're off.

Its got a lot of potentional, I had an 88' mustang gt non power, slick top, non ac car with a lot of work and hours put into it. Fun but was down right dangerous in anything but nice sunny weather. Stay safe with it.

thats what i thought but i couldnt remember. its been a couple years, but i used to be pretty big into this stuff. if you know where to look, you can find the heads and the intake for pretty cheap

bmw - those are some clean mustangs. nice bro

Id stay away from the flowmaster stuff it gets annoying with the dreaded drone.but if its just the sound ur after on a budget id find a muffler you like and havem welded on and put turndowns at the rear axle.its loud sounds good and cheap.another cheap alternative to actual flowmasters are the v force they're flowmaster knockoffs but sound identical.

Thanks, and the car ended up hydroplaning on i95 doing 55mph in the rain and had a love tap by a semi.

I would look into converting the car to mass air ( if i read right at this hour of night you said it was an 88') grab a a9l ecu or a9p.

Nice car glad its american lol
I'll race you.... off the road. You might be able to go fast but I'll go anywhere. Just screwing with you man have fun with it when you get your license but watch out cops are everywhere

il tell you everything you need ecu wireing harness maf sensor and a intake that will work with the mass air flow sensor put it all on and your set to go. the reason i went to mass air flow is because it was cheaper than buying a new cam or else that biotch woulda been geting carbureted

thanks bro you got a pretty nice jeep im just more into v8 cars but i do love my trucks and jeeps also

you guys sure get some dangerous cars for 1st cars... fun-yes, dangerous-very... the statistics speak for themselves. have a fast car you WILL drive it fast. the easiest explanation is fast cars practically BEG to be driven. my truck is putting out quite a bit over 300hp so I'm familiar with stomping it all the time.

as for exhausts I'd get a magnaflow or borla, I have borla's on both our vehicles and love them. magnaflow is nice but not stainless the packing isn't as long lasting either.

if you plan to race maybe flowtech warlocks they're mean. with the caps on they're a typical chambered design like a flowmaster or spintechs even...

glasspacks flow good but I've seen dyno's and for some reason even tho they flow better even on a flow bench. sometimes it makes less power than a straight thru muffler like a magnaflow or borla... I had a classic chambered exhaust powerstick 3" pipe and with longtubes and no cats it was straight dragster loud... pretty much as loud as my headers open but cleaner... crazy loud, I had to pull them off as I didn't even feel right starting it up in the middle of the day anywhere near civilized people lol

im not gana be like most people that have a fast car so they drive it fast. i know noones gana beleave me but ive seen what happen to my brothers first car many people i know that died from not driving safely. i dont want to lern my leason like my brother by rolling a car he put 15 gs in he walked out un harmed dont know how but he did. or worse not lern my leason and end up under 6ft of dirt. thats my thought on everything.

Are you already maf converted?if not you're going to have driveability issues with that 303 cam.I like carbs for my oldschool iron but I love my later model 4.6 mill too.only thing I don't care for are the prices for the 4.6 parts.
