Removed the Stator last night. and started sorting out some nice bling bolts for when I re-install the cover.

Oh and the tyres are: Journey 20/11-10 4PR P357 Tyres & Sun F 21/7-10 6 Ply A027 Tyres.

Wet spots are WD40 I put on the 2 screws. Not oil.

Wow man build is looking great! Love the purple for sure....BUT THIS THING ISN'T DONE YET!?!?!?! Hahaha! keep up the good work, you are on the home stretch!

Muffler all cleaned up ready to repack.

still need to shorten the bolts for chain rollers.

Started stripping the engine. Head gasket, exhaust gaskets, Carb gasket and some seals on there way to me.

Piston is black. Has no movement side to side or front to back. runs up and down nice and smooth.

Head looks like its had a bit of piston or sh*t hitting it in the past, Maybe last piston before it had top end done. Have a new head for it anyways.

Brought some nice bling bolts for the engine today. Not one of the kits you buy. I ended up measuring the engine bolts and buying them from hardware shop.

Got my muffler re-packed today. All nice and clean.

Been trying to get some parts for my engine and Yamaha shop is a total waste of time. tried 3 different stores and still don't have my parts I want. Time to contact KOR.

Just to let you all know I'm still building this. Yamaha stores in New Zealand suck big time. I contact about 6 stores to get parts for the engine and only 2 replied with a cost. They both told me 1/2 the parts would have to come from Australia and there would be a 2 week wait. I told the 1 shop to go ahead and get the parts and now its 3 weeks later and still no parts so I contacted the best man in the world KEN and he has shipped the parts to me.

When I get the parts I will be back into working on the blaster.

Started cleaning up the FMF Fatty.

Starting with this.

After 30 mins.

After another 30 mins.

Still haven't been able to get it perfect.

Bike sitting, Waiting for a engine and front wheel alignment.

I just read through this entire thread. Wow Mark, looks fantastic. You didn't pull any stops did you? Purple must be the new blue, im building a purple blaster too!

Get that engine together and get that bike dirty!!

Been away the last 4 days at my brothers wedding. Got this week off so be getting into the shed to work on the bike. Plan on rebuilding the carb 1st.

Started rebuilding the carb. Found out I need to order the washer for under the jet. It never had one.

Nets on.

Man that's a sick looking blaster for sure. I can tell you took a lot of pride and work into getting it done.... Looks great! Never would have thought painting one purple but you did and it's one of the beat ones I've ever seen. Keep up the good buddy.

Got a message today to say my washer is in store for the main jet. Getting 2 of them.

Got my main jet washers today. Can now finish rebuilding the carb.

Got the carb back together. Good by TORS and Oil injector.

Installed the new head gasket and head.

New washers.

New nuts and new spark plug.

Cleaned up the exhaust manifold.
