Ok let me get this straight.... He wants an LTZ400 but he wont take a KFX400. He does realize that the only difference is color and the stamping on engine components correct? Made in the same factory, on different days. They are nice for trails but the valvetrain is known to be unreliable. The YFZ is a nice handling bike, but everything involved with the motor I HATED with a passion. Parts are crazy expensive, the rods are known to come apart on the earlier models until 2007 when Yamaha fixed the oiling issue. The TRX is BY FAR my favorite. The power is awesome, suspension isn't too bad, and they are extremely reliable. I've had all 3 and honestly, I traded up to the Honda. I would say TRX450R or TRX400EX.
