I have a pwk 35 freshly rebuilt sitting on the shelf with no home whats it take to adapt this to my 240bbk?And will the benefits be able to be felt on the ole ass dyno?

Anyone running this particular carb or an equivalant thats 35mm?

Id prefer to route this using the stock air box obviously modded as opposed to a clamp on uni.so lets see the pics of 35 mm carb installs.thanks

You're running a stock carburetor on a modified vito's BBK? OH YEAH you'll feel it in the old ass dyno. The stock carb is barely adequate for a stock top end much less a BBK.

You'll need a reed spacer, a 33-35mm carburetor intake manifold, a piece of PVC tube 2.5" or so and a piece of rubber hose to connect the PVC (or steel or aluminum tube if you choose) to the carburetor intake.

You'll also need a throttle cable "for TORS delete" if you don't already have the TORS cap off your stockie.

Yea the 240bbk is breathing through the stocker now.

Thats good to hear.

The tors is gone and all that.

Got any pics of them installed?

Where can i get the manifold or can it be made from a modded stocker?Ive already got the spacer.

Is the entire TORS system been removed or just the wiring clipped? Does the carburetor still have that goofy looking box on top of it? Because the cable that works with that setup won't work with the PWK35.

I don't think I have a single picture of the PWK 35 I have on mine but I do have a picture of the OKO 30mm with the clear float bowl I was running for a while:

modding the stocker to fit a PWK35 is a risky procedure. I've heard of people reaming out the stock intake manifold for a PWK 28/oko30mm but IMO, the PWK 35 is just too large to ream out the stock intake manifold safely. You need to purchase a larger diameter manifold made for a 33-35mm carb. UPP, pro design are two brands. Neither are cheap mind you but they make fitting a PWK35 onto a blasty a snap.

Its off an 89 kdx200 i torched the top end and havent rebuilt it so i figured id use it on the blaster and in between now and the time i rebuikld id find another one for my kdx.

This carb worth the 75+ itll cost me for the intake and other odds and ends?

Definately worth it! I run a 34mm on my setup and it is a huge improvement over the 28mm I had on there prior to having my engine ported.

Plus, your top end stands a better chance of lasting long with the 35mm carburetor. I don't think there's any conclusive evidence of what I'm about to say, but running a stock carb with a BBK will, IMO, force the engine to run lean no matter how big you go with the jetting. That 35mm carb will let SO much more air into the engine and tuning will be much easier.
