Injector Block-off (clean) for $3

Yea man thanks for this DIY. Only I did the easy removal than the next day did the white wheel removal which was a pain in the ass. I was gonna take pics for ur thread but let it be known if doin the white wheel removal MAKE SURE THE KICKSTART bearing stays IN when pulling the cover because i spent damn near 2.5 hours figuring out how it goes back in and ruining a new gasket. AND when u remove the wheel, don't forget the PIN that supports the wheel. Right b4 assembling the cover I noticed that pin laying around in the crank so BE CAREFUL. That could've been a catastrophe.

Yeah, that's another good reason NOT to remove the clutch cover if you don't have to and just disable the pump. The other BIG problem is the kick-starter spring. For some reason, on SOME bikes, it's a mother to get the bent end to stay in the hole in the crankcase while you're trying to put the cover back on. I started another thread b/c of it and the best (only) practical solution I got was to wrap the end of the spring with tape so that it fits snugly in the hole.

yea im was bored and i lijke working on my quad so i did the white wheel removal and payed the price. it was a PAIN IN THE ASS the get it right. that kickstart bearing was crazy. i didnt know wtf i was doing! but it took damn near 3 hours to figure it out. i was readjusting my clutch anyway so

GET INFO, this was the first project I did to my blaster ( just got it 5 days ago) i didnt use the black goo to fill in the gromet holes or to fill the cut tubes, I bought vaccum caps . 1 to fill the gromet holes just add a bit of super glue( i like you like to have things nice and neat) 2 also to cap off the oil pump and carb

The sizes were 7/32 .... and 1/8 ..... they both fit real snug.. I have picture but cant seem to figure out how to add them

Thanks Again

I had my engine all tore apart and just removed the white gear. It was easy, just pull the clip, remove the gear, and remove the pin. No biggy. No worries. Of course i cut the lines and capped them. And capped the carb nipple. Reassembly of the clutch cover is a snap if you have a manuel to go by. You just gotta make sure things are in place.

Yeah but every once in a while someone (like me) has a hard time with the kick starter spring for some reason. I have a Clymer's manual and the thing is great but that spring is (can be) a PITA!

well 3 beers later i finally got mine all back together. I'm running 32:1 right now. I have not seen anyone talking about carb adjustments, so I'm assuming its ok with the stock settings ( keep it mind my blaster is a stock 02')

what do i do whit the elctronic gismo in the tank can i just disconect it or whi i have to twist the wires to gether?

what vacume tube on carb?

Disconnect it and throw it away. Leave the wires open but tape off the green wire so it doesn't short on the frame and cause the warning light (on your headlight) to come on and tell you that your oil is low I:I
pull the oil pump tube off the carb nipple and put a vacuum tube block-off on the nipple to prevent an air leak in your carb.

easy enough i will tqake care of it soon oil system was cut off when i bought it but they diden cap or plug some of it i need a pic or somthing of the carb so i know whitch nipple to cap please the guy before me ran strait gas through it and I guess he dident think about it till the top end was burnt
