I am a new with blaster And i want tomake it 240cc

hey guys please help me to upgrade my 200cc plaster to be 240cc which is faster , but in order to do that what do i need to make it 240cc and how much money do i need to be done i think if i want to change the head to 240cc do I need to replace some thing else

if you want it a 240cc you need to buy a big bore kit, they sell for about 500bucks,and i would get a good pipe, carb set up to get the most out of that bbk.. http://www.vitosperformance.com/atv_parts/home.php if you buy the bbk make sure you go ahead and buy the vitos/wiseco piston thats forged the cast pistons suck..

The money you can spend is endless.In reality a good port job on the stock cylinder with the right bolt ons will be alot more power than a 240 kit with no port work and the right bolt ons.

This guy has the idea. I would buy a used 240 kit, get it Ported and polished and repaint it. Itll cost the same only you will have a port and polish.

it's been done. like 52 horse stock? yeah. it'll be faster. you'll have to fabricate your own engine mounts, adapt a pipe to fit, and strengthen the frame tho.

about $800.00 and your blaster will be faster !!! lol
between your bigbore kit, port job, weisco piston and a good high volume pipe, after that youll also prolly need a bigger carb and might as well throw in some good reeds while your at it. , id would save up a $1000 and do everything right. or look for used stuff, but me personaly, i dont like to do used. to build an engine RIGHT isnt cheap. dont forget the small stuff that adds up quick like a gasket kit, while your engien is apart you might as well throw in new bearings, theres another 50 to 100..adds up real quick, im building another yz250 as we speak and man the dollars sure do add up if ya do it right.

im all about doing it right and Dan is correct. Wildcard WILL be doing my motor build. You guys should PM him if you want him to do a build for you, but one thing i can tell you for sure is that he has very good prices for what i have looked at, and I have talked with about 5 engine builders.
