Seems like if your racing ya would use non o-ring chain. Less rolling resistance, lighter and cheaper so you can afford to change it more often. Just a thought.
 
the did is a x ring chain, i don't really want to have to keep replacing crappy non ring chains, kinda sounds like a hassle, i ride all year round till winter and i don't want to have to be replacing bunches of chains.
 
I'd get the x-ring and bump the front sprocket up to a 14. With 18'' mx tires your going to need the 14 up front, imo

I bought that same set up. don't think it will fit a +4 swinger. the sprockets are JT steel not aluminum just so ya know.
