Just got my sunstar 14 tooth sprocket put it on and when I fished the chain through the chain hits the engine case ( the metal not the plastic cover) does anyone else have this prob. the chain is a standard o-ring style. any help would be great thanks.

yes, there have been others have the same problem, i believe they ordered a different sprocket and it fit.
do you have it on the correct way ?

ps...email sent about your double/matching usernames.
please check your email, use the "contact us" button at the bottom of every page to explain/correct this, hopefully the admin will unlock whichever of the 2 accounts you choose, the other will be deleted.
until then, both accounts are locked

If you used the old chain, it may be stretched just enough to ride high on the sprocket, enough to foul the case.

It is a must to replace both chain and sprockets at the same time.

Ok I guess I'll have to try a different sprocket. The sprocket is on the right way but I did use the old chain but it is new prob a month old. What sprocket make do u recommend that would fit?
