yea i am old enough to vote, but i didnt vote so i dont biotch. who's to say it was a mistake? have you not heard from the thousands of soldiers that say iraq sucks, but they know exactly why they are there? ever think that if we didn't take it to them, they were just going to keep bringing it to us? REMEMBER 9/11? if someone robs your house, do you continue to keep the door unlocked, the windows open, and go about your merry life? NO! you lock the door, close the windows, install security systems, and try to find the son of a ****** that robbed you. think about it. if we didn't take it to them after they attacked us, 9/11 would be forgotten b/c of all the other terrorist attacks that came after.

i agree with you to an extint, but in my opinon, people should have to work for it, i mean come on guys, we cant vote a person in and expect that one single person to straighten every little aspect of the economy for every one of us, its or responsibility to do our part! And anyone who voted for Obama (myself included) needs to realize that! but i think he still did a better job than McPlain reasoning, and explaining what he would do, he did his job in his campaign and thats why he won! not because hes black, he just had a better idea to more americans than not!! but him being black did have a major part of winning over the majority of black voters! i mean they all wanna hook a brotha up, right? lol
Have you ever heard of NIMS? Well NIMS is what the president initiated to clean up katrina. You wanna know what NIMS is? National Incident Management System. Which is a large group of people including myself which are trained to respond to all types of disasters. Did you donate your time to cleaning up katrina? Probably not, I did. So dont say the president didnt do anything when YOU didnt do anything.

I agree with the first half of your statement and strongly disagree with the 2nd half. Now that Obama is president most of the people that voted for him are going to think that everything will instantly get better. I dont think they will be more productive or try harder, they just expect that things will "change" on there own.

He had ideas with no means or way of implimenting them. Non whatsoever he walked up there and said "healthcare" and "change" and "end the war" with no clue how to do any of it and people followed him. Yes they all wanna "hook a brotha up" I had never in my lifetime seen a black man wear a president on there shirt until now. I have seen obamas face on a black mans shirt more times than I care to count. Let alone they wear it like it makes them better than everyone else.
