taxing big business will kill the country? what about small business owners? after 9/11 majority of new businesses opened failed. Walmart and Mickey D's dont seem to have that problem but Mom and Pop's store does and so do the rest of small business america. and they continue to tax the small business owner to the point of failure. and again not going against the whole Barack thing and i know its a Barack post but when you come up with all these great things about what Bush did for this country it kinda goes against the whole this is a Barack post. All Bush did for the country was take advantage of a flawed system and use it to make himself richer. How many other presidents while in office saw they're personal income jump 10 fold while in office? and a Republican sheriff? you think thats gonna matter? thats great you should go ahead and send him to Detroit first. they need a new biotch to come to they're hood so they can beat him strip his car and take his shoes and leave him for dead across the hood of his car like they do to all the rest of they're citizens. fact is republican sheriff just wont get it done either. and if you think the healthcare and the system is screwed up here Canada isn't much better and they're Democratic too so i dont know if you'll be able to run away from the wonderful world Bush created for Barrack to play with and go to Canada and have all that dissapear. Canada's just as f*cked as us but they do have a better health care system.

I believe this is now the 5th time in this thread I have mentioned that I DO NOT LIKE BUSH! I mentioned ONE nice thing he did and get accused of being a bush lover (not in a good way if you know what I mean :)! Most All presidents abuse the right to run this country. Barrack will too!

What do you mean big business is doing fine? Mc donalds is fine because people like being fat. Walmart is fine because they operate on a 1% markup so everyone shops there. What about FORD, CHEVROLET, and CHRYSLER? They just needed a bailout from the government so those people can keep there millions of overpaid jobs! Funny how you fail to mention them under "big business" They alone effect over 70% of american jobs.

As for small business. Both my parents own their own small businesses so I know they are taxed too much. The reason they are taxed too much is because of all the businesses that underclaim how much they make. Not to mention all the tax money they pay goes to programs and people that just fail! The more proposals that pass voting the more money that is taken from the tax payers. I dont get why people vote yes on everything they see on TV. Everytime they vote yes its money out of their pockets. Then if the policy fails it is money WASTED.

I live 3 miles from detroit. I could only hope this sheriff would come take a job here. Michigan has some of the worst prison overpopulation problems in the country and we need someone like him to straighten it out. Burnt houses that arnt torn down, TRASH TRASH TRASH and more TRASH EVERYWHERE. It is absolutely disgusting. He would have those CRIMINALS picking up every little bit with their teeth. It would fix so many problems and so much bitching and complaining by the citizens of detroit. I cannot wait to get out of this area/state!

Canada having a better healthcare system, I havnt been there but ive heard stories. You get diagnosed with cancer and you die from it before you can have treatment because there is so many people that are sick. Not to mention its not Healthcare its Sickcare here and in canada. People dont want to be healthy they just dont want to be sick. No sh*t the guy that eats 12 cheeseburgers a week and smokes is gunna have health problems. Thats the problem in the U.S. Most people are sick because they bring it upon themselves. Healthcare would be paying for vitamins and gym memberships things of that sort that would actually help people. Throwing them some drugs and saying "here take these" wont fix the problem, just make them dependent on drugs.

And no i dont make more, i simpily got screwed!!! My old lady's and my combined income are less than 60K, so how do i make to much? and i was supposed to get $1200, but it never came, and when i called i was told i make to much! tell me i didnt get screwed! And no it isnt all Bush's fault, but ahell of alot of it is, now all we can do is sit back and hope Obama does somthing good for the country and straightens sh*t up a lil, it'll take awhile, but how can we come and say he's gonna do this and this, when he hasnt even been there a month!

Sorry you got screwed on your money, wont be the last time itll happen in your life. I agree a lot of it is bushes fault.

Correct, he hasnt been in for a month yet. He has already released a terrorist that is now the head of one of the divisions of Al qaeda. Great leadership there! Has my confidence! NOT! AWESOME START! At least soon we wont be the worlds most powerfull nation anymore, then the kuran can point its guns at someone else! like china!

BTW incase you didnt know TOYOTA as of a few days ago passed GM in overall sales and is now the worlds leader in auto sales. THANKS IF YOU OWN A TOYOTA! <sarcasm

i was impressed when obama stopped paychecks to some of the people in DC. not sure of the whole situation there and whether or not he stopped payment to the right people, but i was impressed when he said most of america is hurting, so politicians should carry some of the burden (my paraphrase lol)

regardless of what washington or jefferson said (i think those were the 2 someone quoted, that was like 5 pages of reading ago lol) the United States was founed upon Christian values.

the reason i say religion is an important topic is because what you believe effects everything you do. When someone says that they dont' let what they believe effect their decisions for the country it just shows me that what they say they believe is not truely what they believe. think about it.

ok here are some fun facts for you guys. Before i write this im going to say i consider myself a republican, but whoever seems better i will vote for. It doesnt matter anymore anyway. Alot of people just go by what the canidates say they are. But it doesnt mean sh*t anymore.
A.Obama is not just releasing the prisoners from guantanamo bay, he is putting them into the justice system so they can finally get a fair trial like they deserve. If a country was holding american solders for two years without doing anything i know alot of the people on this forum would make a big deal about it. As they should.
B. IDK if many of you realize it, but the 2nd amendment doesnt allow us to own as many guns as we want, or what kind for that matter. It only says that the government cannot take guns away from us flatout. So thats why they could have an assault weapons ban, because it doesnt violate the constitution. And what does the price of rounds have anything to do with this? thats only because copper was high as hell recently, and the companies are still selling rounds that they made during that time, thats why they are high as hell. But that is a different topic completely.
C. California has alaways been a democratic state for as long as i can remember. And guess what? California is the 5th biggest economy IN THE WORLD. And no, that is not a typo or mistake.
D.And sparky, why would we go and vote for another republican? just like a quote that you posted with einstein saying that Insanity is doing the same wrong thing over and over again. Well in that case, you must be pretty crazy.
E. Ive seen people like you, all you do is talk sh*t and say that everything else sucks and what you think is better, but yet, you never physically do anything about it. Which begs the question, doesnt that sound just like a polititian in washington D.C.?

Heres some fun facts for you! since your so smart.

Whats gunna happen with them going to court? PAYOFF! they are going to be released on bail and sent right back to the al qaeda! They have billions of our oil dollars and they are going to buy their prisoners back. Dont think for a second and any of them will receive justice for what they have done.

Brass? Brass? are you kidding me? I worked in the recycling industry for 3 years and NEVER ONCE did ANY metal fluctuate that fast NEVER ONCE. The reason for the ammo increase isnt due the copper vaule. Its TAX %300 TAX INCREASE ON AMMUNION not just AMMUNITION with copper all AMMO %300. Thats the start of government control (what they dont control already they are trying to) Then hes gunna try some sh*t like "if youve ever had a speeding ticket you arnt allowed to own a gun" and slowly narrow it down so as few people as possible have guns. Wait and see.

Good for california. Im talking about cities with that post. Michigan used to also have like 7 or 8 of the richest 10 people in the U.S. but detroit is number 1 on the poverty list. Irrelevent.

As for voting republican. That has nothing to do with the enstein quote. That would be reffering to revoting bush in for another 100 years. That wouldnt make sense. Giving another republican with new ideas a chance isnt repeating what we have been doing. Throw a liberal (socialist running as a liberal) in office and we are f*cked. Just wait and see. Thats what I keep saying because thats the only thing thats going to prove I am right. And trust me, this is the one time in my life where i wish I was wrong.

As for knowing me and "ive seen people like you" statement? Here we go for that. You dont know sh*t about me. Just with the forum alone I have contributed to more than just about anyone else. Does that sound like washington? Why dont you go check out the how-to section and see how many people I have helped motherfucker! What the f*ck have you done? Dont get on here and attack me when you have no idea idea what im about. I have volunteered my help to more people in my community that you can possibly imagine. I have helped with more boyscout, girlscout, community, hospital, ems programs, hazmat programs, WMD programs than you can begin to imagine!

and someone needs to do something about those union workers who are just collecting paychecks and doing nothing b/c the union will not allow the companies to fire them. unions were a good idea origionally, but now they are pretty much just screwing the nation in the long run. this is not only the case with gm and other big businesses, but even local unions are this way.

OMFG I COULD NOT AGREE MORE! THANK YOU! REP POINTS!

LOL, so i guess youy give rep piopnts to someone who agrees with you. Wow, sounds like a polititian to me. And dont worry, im going to be back in 4 years and we will see what happens with the current president. If he does well, you will be in for a servere PWNAGE

couldnt agree more, dirty mothers f*cker that stare at you every day, holding a shovel, while you leave your hard day of work! Pisses me off everyday when i drive through the road widening project here!!

lol..

this will probably start a completely different war but possibly Ford and Gm and Chrysler and all the other companies would'nt take such a beating if they made a vehicle as well as Toyota or Honda. they worried so much about the big V-8's and gas went through the roof and not as many wanted that big SUV any more they wanted those little electric cars that run FOREVER and get 9 million miles to the gallon. maybe instead of spending so much time jerkin off with another high horsepower vehicle they could have tried to design something to run on water (hydrogen technically) like Honda did. while Ford and everyone is laying off people how many people did Toyota and Honda have to lay off (for the year or life?) i feel as bad for the american automaker as i do the american home audio/ home theater/ tv maker as well. the japanese just make better crap which is why we're not on FordBlaster.com lmao and sparky being as you live that close to Detroit then you should know about insanity dealing with the weakest Nfl team for the last decade. when the new coach comes in is it his fault when the team doesnt win the Super Bowl next year? he took over a team that was 0-16. so what can you really expect? thats where the U.S. is right now basically after the guy you didnt like Bush left it that way and now Barrack is coming in to take over the 0-16 team and he hasnt coached a game yet and hes already got haters. and i didnt dog on any aspect of your Blaster knowledge or any of your community service or donations to the site just the political startup of a post and continuous ranting about the guy thats been in office for a week being a joke and Bush at least gave everyone $600 for his 8 years in office so hes better?

No, I give rep points for someone that had a good idea that makes sense. Dont get so excited, you probably wont want to come back in 4 years. I would give someone rep points that was against my ideas if they had a good one. Usually thats not that case though.

Pwnage isnt a word. Go back and play your ps3. Leave this conversation to people that actually care about it.

The american people at the time didnt want a fuel efficient car. The soccer moms want the big as SUV that gets 8mpg to put 50,000 miles on it a year. The guys that want to be all badass cause they have a truck even though they have never used the bed of it. Its really bad around here.... Almost everyone I see with a large vehicle never has more than 1 person in it and is never hauling anything. Maybe 1 out of 100 large vehicles I see are actually being used like large vehicles. I sit in/drive an ambulance 8 hours a day so I see A LOT of traffic.

I agree some people wanted fuel efficient cars and there was not enough. I ride my bike 8 months out of the year and get 36mpg so it didnt effect me that bad.

Chevy came out with the Aveo and ford came out with the new Focus both very nice vehicles. The problem with the auto industries is they are corpratley run. It can be a great motor or design that an engineer came up with put if they dont approve it or get their pay cut on it then they wont release it. Instead they throw the inferior motor in it and it breaks or gets bad gas mileage. Then when someone gets stuck with the sh*tty engine they wont buy from that company again.

For example I have a 2001 ford ranger, its an ok truck and somewhat does what I need it to do. It has a 3.0 liter engine. It is a reliable engine but thats all it is. It gets horrible gas mileage for its age and size. It also has no power. My bike is 1/3 displacement and has the same amount (if not more) power than my truck. Now im not trying to compare bikes to cars/trucks but its the principle of the idea. How can a japanese 1 liter engine make as much power as a ford 3.0 liter engine? They need to apply that technology to their vehicles and they done. Chevy has done great with their fuel management system. Why not use it on all their vehicles?!?!?!?

Why cant a 4 cylinder car run on 3 or even 2 cylinders on a flat even road without extra weight? Theirs no reason for it.

Why dont they produce biodiesel trucks off the line with 2 gas tanks?

What about a 6 speed stand trans (ford has the right idea with the f150)? It cant cost that much for 2 extra gears and a new computer mapping.

What about the rotory engine? More power, less displacement, let wear and tear, simpler design. They bought out mazda so they have the patent! why not use what mazda has to offer?

Imagine a focus with fuel management a 6 speed trans running on biodiesel with a rotory engine. I know the technology isnt there quite yet but its not happening! why? is what we need to ask.

Why dont they do a lot of things? I have a ton of ideas and im sure the engineers have a lot too, they did go to college for it. Corperate Auto America wont let it happen. I dont know weather they are being paid off or what.

The problem with the lions..... The players didnt pick the coach.... And the players dont know how they should be coached. What percentage of the people that voted for obama had a clue what he was all about? Maybe 30%? He walked up their and said "change change change" and people just melted, not realizing they have to work for it. Its like they think obama is just gunna mail them a check to change their lives forever. Not gunna happen.

something that really erks me is how many people voted for Obama simply because he is black. they were trying to make a statement that America is over racism (which it isn't, at least not where i come from) or at least can overcome it, but in reality they were being racist themselves in choosing the next president b/c of race and not for what he stands for. ever hear about that reporter that went to some of the colored sections of cities in the south and asked the people if they thought it was a wise choice for Obama to pick Palin as his running mate. many of the people agreed and thought it was a good decision. :/ that and some of the things i have seen at my college campus shows me that most people didnt know the issues. i haven't really talked to many people in person that voted for him, everyone of my friends and the people i have run into and talked to about the election either voted for mccain or didn't vote at all. which begs the question, how did win Pennsylvania in the first place? i realize that i live in the country and dont' talk to people in cities, so this must be the answer.

i'd like to say a little about guns (if nothing else this topic is a good way to vent steam lol) you really don't have to read it all since there is a lot of venting haha.

i have realized in the past few years that people from the country and people from the city view guns in two completely different manners. I have grown up around them all my life. ever since i have been strong enough to hold a gun i have been shooting them, and, not to brag, i am quite good at it, and really enjoy shooting. it is an excellent way to blow of steam or just have some fun. We also use them for food. my family is in no wise wealthy, and there have been several winters where if my dad had not shot several deer we would have went without food. people from the country collect guns like boys collect baseball cards. they are an excellent topic of conversation and one of the best ways for a father or grandfather to spend quality time with is children or grandchildren. they are also good for personal protection from criminals as well as dangerous animals.

People from the city don't understand this. they only see guns as a means to kill other people, and therefore they think that the only people that have guns are outlaws. it's been said before: if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns.

and thank you sparky (i think it was you that said it) my origional point about the .260 rem. ammo was that it is being ridiculously taxed. i don't know how true this is, but i have heard that obama wants to tax ammo something like 500%. ridiculous.

that is going to make it extremely expensive for all of us soldiers to qualify with all of our weapons every year. and some soldiers just plain suck at shooting and they have to shoot several times to qual.

and the SRT team at my unit (which is currently not training b/c all of the members except myself and one or two others are in iraq, i joined just before they left so i only have a few months training with them, but have learned quite a lot) have to pay for our own weapons and ammo to train with, and we are supposed to shoot every month. the srt team are the ones that volunteer to go above and beyond to do the extra training and volunteer for the more dangerous missions, and protect and escort the company commander and other important personnel. how are we supposed to pay our own money on ridiculously priced ammo if it is taxed 500%?

I would guess prolly 40% of the people that voted for obama voted for him because he is black. I bet 60% of the people that voted for him had no idea what he was about other than "change".

All these ignorant college stundents are what piss me off. I cant believe some of the statements they make.

I agree. When you take away guns only bad guys have guns.

Obama doesnt want you to train. He wants to control you and your rights.

I view guns the same way you do. My girlfriends mother hates guns and wants america to be like parts of europe where guns are illegal. She has a 18 month old and I brought up the point to her, what if someone breaks into your house? What can you do to defend yourself or your child?

Guns are important. The penalty for having a gun in your posession without being allowed to have one should be much steeper than they are.

I hate it when the news spits out statistics like "7,000 people this year died from gun fire." My question "how many would have died if they didnt have guns?"

yeah. i know obama had a good campain trail through colleges, where they had forms or w/e for students to sign up to vote. the future is going to be interesting. i wonder what will happen, we shall see.

honestly sparky, just leave this thread how it is now. And then we come back in four years after we see what happens, and no PWNAGE isnt a word. We all know that, except you i guess...

yeah, a girl i still haven't gotten over about ripped my heart out when she said she doesn't like guns, and this was after shooting with her a few times, she's really good at it.

how many people would try to rob a bank if everyone else in there was packin? or how many would try to hijack a plane if everyone else was packin? it would straiten society out pretty quick, i think. of course you always have those few people that are retarded and get mad and shoot someone over something stupid, but they would quickly be taken care of.
