Help

we know everything about replacing bearings, carrier/axle bearings ???
wassup, havin troubles gettin them out ????
gonna need a torch, some PB blaster, and a sharp edged chisel or the like, i just used a piece of electrical ground rod, with a nice squared off cut, the first one is the biotch because of the spacer in the way, but theres a little lip that can be caught with the chisel/punch,
PB blaster first, preferably over night, then heat that biotch good while in a vice, get the punch thru and catch that edge, and use a BFH to drive her home, once you get it moving, move from side to side to drive it out evenly

clean the races, freeze the new bearings to shrink them, heat the race and use the same outside diameter socket to evenly drive the new one in

i just used a flathead screwdriver and a hammer to lightly drive out the old bearings, my new ones slid right in no problem. make sure you tighten the axle nut really good or you'll have issues with a variable width rear end lol

While you have it apart drill and tap for a grease zerk in the carrier. Pull inner seal off bearings so grease get to them. Coat the axle where the sleeve goes with grease or anti sieze, coat axle where hubs go with anti-sieze. You will thank yourself later if you ever have to take it back apart. I've got an axle I couldn't get the sprocket hub off even with a puller (home made).
