Has anyone repainted there frame. Possibly sand blasted and used a automotive paint on there blasters. If so what's a good durable brand of paint for theses that are resistant to oil gas rockchips excetra. I have a ton of duplicolor and a few kandy house of colour urethanes . I'm thinking of the hok. Gun metal silver metallic on the frame with the newer black plastics. Any opinions?

Idk if you have a budget I'd definitely go with powder coating. If there's a local shop near you get a quote I got lucky Thera a guy near me thats doing my rims for 25 each and pegs and heel guards for 15 each the frame quote was 150 his work is great too then again I really don't know powdercoating prices.

I would always use, pj1 paint. Depending on color, some need to be cleared. Maybe $50 plus your time for the frame and some other small parts. However, It always got rash and things like skid plate guard would chip paint off, but I was rebuilding every off-season.

$150 is a good price and will last longer, go with PC if $ is not an issue
