Stephen Misfud or something like that is the WR holder or was last year (I used to be really into spearfishing/freediving) he has like an 8 minute breath hold. I know guys who free dive 100+' I don't go very deep but I've shot some nice fish and seen alot of sharks even while night diving for lobster lol you can youtube stuff, I don't have an under water camera but I took pix of the fish I caught/shot. I'm back to my skinney old self too, so I should go again soon as I heal up good... but then I'm gonna be lifting again so I'll put back on the weight and not really fit my wetsuit LOL> actually, I don't know, it may not fit already I think I'm still similar weight just my arms and chest got deflated...

let me rephrase, I can dive deeper than most people who are like scuba or non divers. but for a competitive free diver I suck lol. BUT I'm not a competitive freediver. I'm a guy who likes to shoot fish for fun. I like to eat it too tho
here's me in one of my super skinney moments lol this is a milkfish, they put up a nice fight
my weapon of choice, is the riffe baja # 4 VERY oversized for reef fishing but I use it well. and I have taken it blue water diving but we didn't see anything big enough to shoot, odd as we were in 3,000ft deep water and chumming by the pound lol. kinda rediculous... my gun stands from tail to tip about 6'1" iirc... it's a cannon is how everyone in the sport refers to it and my using it on the reef as an all purpose gun LOL I pretty much need weights just to sink it lol
here's some lobster... we catch them by hand here as they don't have pinchers...
I miss going. got these like a year or two ago iirc the fish was like 06 or 07... haven't been diving much lately
octupus we call tako, and I prefer to boil or steam them, then cut them into little pieces and make poke'
that was the most recent, I got it last year iirc, we had my daughter and she just made one... not sure how old she was but she was there at the beach when I got the tako.... in hawaiian it's actually called a he'e tako is I think japanese or something... same thing tho...
