i dont care for the funky degree keys myself.. i would rather see the mod done with the DIY method or a adjustable plate. just my .02

direct from brandon at wildcard. "i dont care if you advance the timing up on the engine a few degrees, it wont hurt it as long as you dont go to far plus you'll gain a little power. But whatever you do dont use those damn degree keys from vitos." nuff said lol

Considering 99.999% of us cannot calculate the shear force difference between stock and offset but I ASSUME :D it's not a lot % wise.
Next is the fact that the primary function is to locate (time) the fly wheel. If you are having issues with shearing keys, you have bigger problems than a little key.
Considering you can mod the stock plate for free, spend the $20 on something else.
My experience with offset key is when my son's Banshee smoked the big end of con-rod and it came to a quick halt the key did not shear. I had used it cause it was with some extra parts that came with it, this was before I knew you could mod a Banshee plate as well :-[ .

JMHO, YOUR results may, and WILL vary. I:I

because its prone to shearing off

I really dont believe the key will shear of, after all its the taper that keeps the flywheel tight, the key only positions it.

Its just a sheer waste of money. The mod can be done for free.

The only bonus is that it sets the timing a +4degs exactly, no room for error.
