OK i have to vent here boys.
So i sell the FMF on ebay. Buyer makes payment (instant) and paypal says its completed and ok to be shipped.
So i ship it off provide tracking and what not.
Now tonite i get an email saying the Transaction is being reviewed because his bank held some funds or something and MY ACCOUNT IS NEGATIVE $168.00.
Like What the f*ck now im paying for my own pipe and shipping?
like what the f*ck do i do about this im calling them tomorrow f*ck im pissed off

Yeah, thats kinda like when i was tryin to buy something and it said you need a credit card. So i found my old Walmart Visa Prepaid card and typed in the numbers and then it said the card wasnt current. So i just changed the expir. date to like 10/11 and it went through. Thats BS that you need a Credit Card to do a transaction with a bank account. I hate Paypal but its the only way to go. I feel for ya man.
 
I do a lot of eBay sales and it happens a lot. Your screwed if the other party doesn't take care of it.
Here's how the scam works
They look for peeps that ship fast
They win the auction
Pay you
U ship next day
Meanwhile they pulled the funds outa the acct
Takes eBay/pay pal 2-3 days to catch up
You shipped
They get the item, your beat, pay pal does not cover it
Cuz the 4 times it happened to me the credit card backing
Up the checking acct was no good

Damn that sucks. Good info for everybody though AcidRayn. I will definately keep this in mind. I've been burned before too. But it was a buyer claimimg that they didnt order the stuff from me. It was like 3 weeks after I had sent it out. Didn't keep the tracking number. So paypal refunded them and they got to keep my stuff. Lot of crooks out there.
 
Feel for ya man, that's why I wait when I sell sh*t on eBay for like 4-5 days before I do because of bastards like this there is more and more of it happening too it sux
 
this seems more like f*cking the thevies than paypal. ya it sucks paypal allows this to happen, but they are not the ones that did it.
 
i have never had paypal tell me it is ok to ship. i have had them say the money has been sent and that is all.
 
yeah they dont tell you that because it would make them liable...they are trying to work the system they devised....its sh*tty but they are a business and look out only for themselves
 
I sometimes sell stuff on eBay and I always wait like a week till after I get paid to ship anything , my usuall excuse is " I was out of town " or some bullshit . I just make sure my paypal has the funds then I sit on it . It sux and I hate doing it to good people but damn it's gettin thick with theives out there , tricky bastards got nothing to do but think of ways to steal your money and stuff
