yeah but they feel that way mostly because of the torque they have, tons of power but not much speed compared to others
well the truck weighs 1000 pounds more so id say the car the headers dont do much with out a high flow intake..
plus headers cant do ther full affect unless u have diff exhaust its like putting a aftermarket head pipe on a blaster with a stock silencer it isnt gonna flow as good as it could
idk man a 5.0 f150 doesnt impress me stock neither does a 351 now im a chevy guy but a 98 dodge ram sxt with a 360 sure impressed me it would eat a f150 with a 351 alive
lol my friend has a 07 f150 with a 5.4 and my friends 93 geo prizm would beat it in acceleration and top speed 5.4=poop.
now a 5.7 hemi is were its at if your talking newer stuff
then will talk a ford lighting dude this can go on and on ive raced 360 (5.9) and blew it away with my old 85 that has a 351 in it and it pulled it backwards but anyways this is way off topic so lets just drop it
holy crap guys thanks for all the replies. i forgot to add that the truck has no cats and has a custom exhaust. the guy i bought it from was a mechanic and knows his sh*t. also, the engine was rebuilt 10,000 miles ago and was overbored. to what i need to ask him and i dont know what kind of pistons were put in. any quick cheap upgrades i can throw on to help out. and i saw what happens first hand when u try and launch a truck in 4wd ha ha. dropped the front driveshaft out it was hilarious. also its the xlt edition not sure if their engines are better. and there bbk headers.
