Do not buy from Sandstar

Honestly, I think I would have had trouble controlling my urge to kill him that night....

However, I feel the need to point out that there's a whole lot going really wonky here. Who would let their mentally handicapped 18 year old daughter go out riding with a 50 year old man you only know by proximity (their businesses are co-located) for hours late at night unsupervised?

It's one thing if the author went riding with them and she rode with the other guy or if he had known the guy personally for decades....

Is it just me or does that sound strange?

I would have killed this guy also. There would have been no holding back. The story sounds like the truth to me.Gilmore has been at glamis for almost 30 years.Sandstar for quite awhile also.Sandstar has deactivated his company facebook acct, his personal facebook, his "contact us" on his webiste etc etc The offender has not even tried to defend himself. That means GUILTY!!!! I find this story downright sickening and I am sure every parent out there feels the same way.If this story is true then I hope his business goes in the sh*tter along with himself. This girl I am sure has dealt with enough in life already and will forever but damn this could put a person on the wrong path.Just a damn shame.

I'd like to point out that metal illness encompasses far more than Mental Retardation. With her losing a parent at such an early age and he being an A student as a high school senior and a college freshmen, my first thoughts were PTSD.
I don't know anything about Glamis but when I was into guns, I was at gunshows almost every weekend. During that time I got to know people who I would have trusted with my daughter, without a second thought. It's easy for these things to feel like a second family. The father obviously misjudged this POS but I understand how it could happen and I'm sure he will punish himself forever more for that mistake.
I'm a black and white type of person. For me this is simple, a man illegally drugged a woman with the intent of it preventing her from resisting his sexual advances, resulting in the young woman attempting suicide then next day.

The original thread has been deleted for legal reasons. I understand that law enforcement is now involved.

Oh, don't take my post the wrong way. It's quite black and white and I would have had to fight the urge quite seriously to kill him over it even before she tried to take her own life!

I understand completely that mental illness does not just mean mental retardation but just the authors use of his own words "mental diabilities" and "mental history" would lead me to believe that one would be a little more cautious about where she was and with whom. It seems that her ability to make judgements isn't very clear. Just thought the whole situation sounded a little strange.
