  • OK, well, the story has been deleted from my original post so you might as well delete the whole thread.
I dont think that thread being on BF will affect either party involved, legally. Over the last two days that link has been posted in MANY different forums and those threads are still up. Its up to you, though, if you think it does not belong on BF.
    i saw the reed chat..............
those your pictured appear to be vf-2's, most reed replacement kits from moto tassanari are $65 each + shipping, that puts you around $140 to replace both sets, plus those still have the screws that luv to come loose and destroy engines, that one sponsor on BHQ had the new vf-4's on special for $200, includes both sets for the banshee's, include reed stops and snap together assembly eliminating those pesky screws,
sale your vf-2's for a few bucks and you have new and improved reed cages for possibly less than replacing those reeds.

thats a finely tuned race machine there, and doesn't need to cheap out on parts.
i thought the stock banshee uses the same style carrier blaster use, and neither will fit into a roundhouse swinger, the axle hole is dead center, not offset to allow adjustment like the rounders.
everyone i know who converted uses parts from here........ http://www.jjandaracing.com/index.html

and yes, i have put my t-rock thru hell, and it has laughed at all of it, i'm very pleased
thank you sir, exactly the reply i expected from a well educated, seasoned racer !
and btw...i requested my t-rock use a stock style carrier, as i had already bought the rad carrier in stock style, i'm sure a roundhouse would be no problem if requested, i know they did an aluminum extended roundhouse for a trx250r 3 wheeler that went to australia
yea there a little short... im gonna try 13/40 now, but wht do u think i should try first? 14/40 or 14/38? i get wht u mean, but thats wht im trying to do. is still be able to do 2nd gear holeshots, but at least be able to hold it for a few feet. i dont mind reaching 5th, but i dont want to be in 6th. i hate haveing that feleing of running out of gears... lol well let me try this ratio first and go from there....
i was running out of gears on 13/40, i would often find my self trying to shift into 7th lol. like it would be that for a holeshot, i did in 2nd, but found my self in 5th after 50' and i was shifting way too much.usually going into corners, i slowed down, then when i went to gun it to get out, it was too low of an rpm, so i had to shift down. then the rpms were too high, so i had to shift back up after i got out of the turn. also i was never in the power band
    Alright. Here goes it.
I'm running 13/40 with 18" tires. Scd just ported and chambered my head. He said it would almost double hp. Obviously 13/40 is too low now (even then it was low) Wht do u think a good gear ratio would be? We were thinking 14/38 -14/40
I guess they are going for the "it's everyone's right and freedom to choose what safety gear to wear" mentality. I think it's dumb. Maybe if one of the requirements to be a member here was you have to be 18 years old, then I could possibly see it being ok as long as all helmetless media was posted in a a private, members only section so people from outside the site could not see us ATV riders acting stupid, irresponsible and making fools out of ourselves. But, the fact is, there are a lot of kids that look up to older members here and any example of someone riding without a helmet is a bad example.
thanx for your support in that helmet thread, they deleted my helmetless video thread, first i can't promote helmets properly, then i can't promote them that way
    when will they understand ???
You should have, he carries spares but I dont know if they would work for a blaster. His 250R has a very built motor.
Thank you for the welcome guys. Im enjoying your forum, I think its a great resource. I think over time we will all become great friends.
