Diy'ing for this weekend

Hi, I would like to tackle some DIY over this weekend. I will try to get hold of a UNI/No Toil filter before the w/end as well as a jet. I ride in dusty conditions so would you recommend I remove the filter housing lid, and do the TORS affect throttle response at all or is it more of a reliability issue? Then I don't like the factory sound of the bike, would cutting the baffle shorter or even removing it affect back pressure negatively? Thanks in advance!

tors dont affect anything...Most people just think they are unreliable..And as long as u dont ride threw any water or mud then remove the airbox cover is fine. And if u take the baffle out of the muffler it will just give u more top end power and it will sound better...but u will loose a little lowend power.
