I have a design for a custom wench mount with a suggested wench that fits inside the "cage" created by the factory front bumper. There is a hollow spot surrounded with bumper/frame tubing. I have produced one for my 4 wheeler and it works perfectly, is out of the way, and light weight. The suggested winch is about 60-80 dollars and the kit price is undecided. I'll post up pics soon, but is anyone interested?

sounds like someone should trade thier blaster for a utility lol jk but yeah usually when someone runs a winch they run dual batteries and i dont think our blaster stator isnt ganna be abile to put enough out for it to work maybe a ricky stator???

phragle made a diy called how to really trick out your lights in the thread he tells you how to get your strator modified to run a battery for the lights so im thinking this might also work for the winch too just a thought
You would definetly have to add a battery. My winch on my utility draws way too much to use off a stator. Plus the atv would have to be running, There are many intances I have had to use my winch because I got stuck and the atv wouldn't refire. If you added a battey and used the stator to charge that battery when it was running it would work no problem
