My first attempt.....custom bumper

I had some spare time at work today. A topic came up yesterday about making a custom bumper, and here is my first. I thought I'd give it a try. I have no way to bend tubing (yet) so I made it with miters. Some prepping is still needed to smooth things out. I will make the mount for it tomorrow after I do some measuring tonight.

Hopefully it will turn out ok

The material is 1" mechanical tubing.

I total of 6' ±

On the scale, it weighs in at 4.5 lbs using carbon steel.

Here is a side view. As you can see, I used the stock bumper mounts, saved a lot of measuring.
