nah, to get the really nice metalic look the metal has to be spotless and shiny so i painted that biotch chrome first! hahaha came out tits!! I:I I:I
Looks great!! Thats what i was goingfor in my frame but used to dark of a primer. You are right about it beeing a pain to paint.
yeah, the undercoat has to be shiny in order to get the deep metallic look, thats why i first painted the whole cover chrome then used the X-metals. yours still came out good, its a real unique look, i like it. I:I
Mine is actually metal. I was confused because the thing that covers the oil pump is plastic. I wish THAT was aluminum.
finally installed it.. 3 coats clear and 3 coats of wax, notice how you can see the reflection of the kickstarter in the cover
