Finally time for a rebuil!

So to come back to an older post of mine, I got the crank out of the case half,one main bearing came out of the case half after heating the case, the other is stuck to the crank. FML :confused: I noticed some unusual wear/markings on the bottom of the case halves though. Any suggestions? Also, the connecting rod looks rubbed up, is that normal or?

Also I happen to notice my number 1 shift fork pawl is all ground up. Is that because I went a little to hard on the shift in the snow lmfao? I kept missing shifts and what not lol. Maybe the bearing was bad? All the other bearings in the motor looked and felt fine when I split the cases. They have no play and don't sound gritty when I spin them. The only ones that make me Leary are the needle bearings, the blind ones. The inner race has a little play to it. Didn't see any damages to the case half where the gears are at and all the gears and what not look fine
