My bolt that hold the sprocket to the axle are always coming lose what's the best way to tighten them. How good would plumbing tape work for it or something like that. Should I just put a small tac weld on it.

Blue locktight! teflon tape won't do sh*t!

Are you bending up the tabs on the locking washers?

I have never had to use Loctite on mine, the locking washers work just fine, and I swap over my sprockets often.

Aha Rear axle nuts, now me compry.

This is the way to tighten them

Top of the page section 6-9

Use Loctite on both nuts.

Tighten the inner nut 40 ft lbs

Tighten the outer nut 140 ft lbs whilst holding inner nut.

Loosen inner nut, back against outer nut to 170 ft lbs whilst holding outer nut.

It is the locking of the nuts together that stops them coming loose.
