So after looking for carbs for awhile trying to decide what would work best I thought this forum could really use a carb review/jetting guide.

Here is the idea, similiar to the pipe review, I'm asking anyone who has replaced there stock carb to post.

To be helpful, we should stick to topic and follow this format

Carb:

Pilot Jet:

Main Jet:

Clip:

Elevation at which you live:

Engine Modifications:

Intake/Filter/Airbox:

Pipe:

Reed:

Carb Review/Opinion:

This would become extremely helpful as a jetting guide as well so I ask all you with other than stock carbs to chime in.

They did? Where is it posted? :-/ I like your idea...maybe we can get this stickied to give the newb's and anyone else who's curious some guidelines. I'll start.

Carb is a nice improvement over stock; very easy to tune. Crisp throttle response once jetted properly. Far less pressure required on the thumb throttle when using this carb, so your fingers last longer while out riding. Carb will fit in the stock intake boot, but it must be angled slightly to clear the clutch arm. A reed spacer would be beneficial in mounting this carb to your engine. Overall, a nice improvement over stock and well-worth the money.

Sweet, that's what I thought, The other thread is not as well done thread title is jetting suggestions or something. I'd really like to get this goin however
